Please remember that some areas in Bridgeland as well as the surrounding areas are a natural habitat for wildlife therefore it is possible to encounter an animal of this nature. As you are out in the community please be cautious of your surroundings at all times.
As with other wildlife, it is possible that snakes and alligators may be seen and or observed on trails or within our lakes. Swimming in the lakes is prohibited. Never attempt to feed, tease, chase, catch, agitate or otherwise disturb any wildlife, such as an alligator, even if it seems harmless or cute. It is unlikely that they will disturb you if you do not disturb them. Certain species of wildlife are protected under state laws. Should you encounter wildlife which concern you please contact the Texas Parks & Wildlife at 281-842-8100 and then notify the association of your report, in the event that a threat is present contact 911 immediately.
